
With the Chicago Sky confirming on Friday that the United Centre will host their 2025 home games versus regional rival Indiana Fever, the WNBA will be lighting up the NBA’s largest stadium this summer.
The world-famous home of the NBA’s Chicago Bulls will host its first-ever WNBA game on June 7th, with space for about 21,000 spectators.
The FIn a team statement, Sky president and CEO Adam Fox said, “Chicago Sky fans have consistently shown up for the team and the city, and we want to reward their passion and dedication by bringing this excitement to an expanded capacity.”
The move puts the Sky in a position to surpass the league’s and the team’s all-time attendance records, with 16,444 fans breaking the franchise mark at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, during a 77-67 loss to the LA Sparks in 2016.ever will return for the second United Centre match on July 27th.
