It was a successful day for our Kentucky Wildcats on the recruiting trail as Mark Stoops and his staff reeled in two transfer portal commitments, both in a few of the most important positions of need.
The first to join the Cats was Arkansas offensive guard Joshua Braun. Shortly after, the staff reeled in Bowling Green transfer offensive tackle Alex Wollschlager.
Overall, Kentucky is looking to land several offensive linemen in the portal as they look to completely rebuild the unit from this past season. These two will hopefully change the culture in that room going forward.
Now, who could be next? Will it be Maalik Murphy? The former Duke Blue Devils starter is currently visiting. On3 has him ranked as the fourth-best QB to enter the transfer portal thus far.
Or could it be former Texas A&M/Incarnate Word QB Zach Calzada who pops? He’s visiting today as well.
Will it be another offensive lineman? What about a running back like Louisiana Monroe’s Ahmad Hardy, who is planning to visit?
The clock is ticking to see who the next name to join the Cats will be.
