Arsenal put SEVEN players up for sale for a combined £130million

Arsenal put SEVEN first-team players up for sale ahead of another very busy summer transfer window set to come.

With the end of the 2023/24 campaign in sight, Arsenal are putting their plans in place ahead of another very busy summer transfer window. Last summer the club spent over £200million on four new signings and they’re expected to do something similar this time around to bridge the gap once more between themselves and Manchester City

Mikel Arteta’s side are still in the title race with two games to play, which is an improvement on last season. However the title still sits firmly in Manchester City’s hands, which leaves the Gunners with work to do in the transfer market ahead of next season.

According to reports, Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for seven players this summer. Mikel Arteta is set to be backed with another significant transfer budget by the Kroenkes, however a few members of the first-team squad will have to depart first.

There are also other players who the Gunners would listen to offers for, such as Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko, however they’re not actively looking to sell them ahead of next season.

The report also states that Mikel Arteta and Edu have a decision to make on Thomas Partey’s future, with the player having just one year left remaining on his contract.

Aaron Ramsdale lost his place in the Arsenal first-team at the beginning of this season, after Mikel Arteta’s decision to sign David Raya from Brentford last summer. Newcastle United and Chelsea are keen on signing the 25-year-old, with the Gunners looking for around £40million.

Eddie Nketiah has been subject to interest from newly-promoted Ipswich Town, however there are many English clubs keen on signing the striker this summer. Wolves, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Brentford are also interested with Arsenal wanting £30million for the 24-year-old.

Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson are both expected to leave following the lack of game time this season. Arsenal are said to be wanting between £15m-£20m for each homegrown talent.

Earlier this week, Kieran Tierney made it clear that he expects to leave Arsenal this summer following his loan spell with Real Sociedad this season: “There is every chance. Look at the squad depth in that position now.

“They have [Oleksandr] Zinchenko, [Jurrien] Timber, [Takehiro] Tomiyasu, [Jakub] Kiwior. Four players can play there. So if I go back and it’s the same as before then I’m not silly, I know the chances are I’ll be leaving.

“But you never know in football. You get the rare case with [William] Saliba, where he came back after a couple of good seasons [out on loan] but you don’t see it too often with someone who has played for four years, left, and then come back to play again.”
