William Saliba has expressed his belief that Arsenal possesses both the best attack and the best defense in the Premier League as they continue their fierce battle with Manchester City for this season’s title

Despite sitting atop the table, the Gunners remain second favorites to clinch the trophy, with the reigning champions trailing them by just one point and holding a game in hand.

Under Mikel Arteta’s stewardship, Arsenal has showcased an impressive balance between offensive prowess and defensive solidity. The team has played one more match than Pep Guardiola’s side but leads the league in goals scored (88) while boasting the fewest goals conceded (28) among its rivals.

The French center-back hailed his team as “unbelievable,” emphasising their ability to both attack and defend at the highest level. Saliba remarked, “I have good teammates who cover me to keep clean sheets, and we’re an unbelievable team who can attack. We can defend, we can suffer. I think we are the best attack and the best defense.”

However, Saliba remains aware of the challenges ahead, especially their upcoming fixture against Manchester United on Sunday. Reflecting on their last encounter, he acknowledged the toughness of the match and the need for focus against a formidable opponent.

Arsenal’s fate in the Premier League title race hinges on Manchester City dropping points in their remaining three games. Despite the uncertainty, Arteta remains optimistic, envisioning scenes of celebration with the trophy at the end of the campaign.

“My brain always takes me to the players lifting the Premier League,” Arteta shared during a press conference on Friday. “That’s what my brain is doing at the moment. I just follow my brain and my gut, and this is how I feel, and this is the way that I want everybody to think, and hopefully we can achieve it.”
