Huge blow for Arsenal with £200k-a-week ace reportedly ruled out of West Ham clash

One key Arsenal player has been ruled out of their Premier League clash with West Ham United on Sunday.

West Ham welcome Arsenal to the London Stadium this weekend for what is a huge game for both Premier League teams.

Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate for a result, after a shocking January that has led on into February.

Having signed no attacking reinforcements and allowed Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals to leave, Moyes is now under real pressure from some sections of the London Stadium faithful.

The players should be right up for this one on Sunday – we desperately need a positive result.

However, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will be bang up for this one as well, having fired themselves back into the title race on Sunday with a win over Liverpool.

The north London outfit do have some big injury doubts for the game though…

According to Arsenal journalist Charles Watts, Gunners midfielder Thomas Partey definitely won’t be fit to face the Hammers on Sunday afternoon.

That’s a big blow for Arsenal, who have really missed the 30-year-old midfielder for the majority of this season.

Partey, who earns £200k-a-week at Arsenal (Spotrac), suffered a setback recently, after being close to a return to action for Arteta’s side.

The north London outfit lack someone who can really pass through the lines from deep when Partey isn’t playing, and they will undoubtedly be cursing their luck that the Ghanaian won’t be back for Sunday’s clash at the London Stadium.
