Coral Gables, FL – The Miami Hurricanes have struck gold in the recruiting world, securing the commitment of 5-star wide receiver prospect, Jordan Matthews. The highly coveted recruit, projected to be a top-10 NFL draft pick with a potential $15 million contract, chose the Hurricanes over powerhouses like Alabama, USC, and Ohio State.
Matthews, a 6-foot, 190-pound phenom from Florida, is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic playmakers in the country. His exceptional speed, agility, and ball skills have drawn comparisons to NFL stars like Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs.
“I’m beyond thrilled to join the Miami family,” Matthews said in a statement. “Coach Cristobal’s vision for the program, combined with the university’s rich football tradition and top-notch facilities, made Miami the perfect fit for me.”
Miami head coach Mario Cristobal hailed Matthews’ commitment as a “program-changer” for the Hurricanes.
“Jordan is an extraordinary talent who will undoubtedly make an immediate impact on our offense,” Cristobal said. “We’re ecstatic to welcome him to our Miami family and can’t wait to see him in action.”
The addition of Matthews is expected to significantly bolster Miami’s receiving corps and provide a major boost to the team’s ACC championship aspirations.
