Arsenal will demand £30million to sell Eddie Nketiah this month.

The 24-year-old is a target for Roy Hodgson at Crystal Palace as he looks to boost his attacking option. The Gunners, meanwhile, are ready to bring in another striker and are eyeing Brentford’s Ivan Toney and Bournemouth ace Dominic Solanke.

If they can get a deal done for either forward, Nketiah will be allowed to leave north London as Mikel Arteta balances the books. However, the once-capped England international is highly regarded at the Emirates and won’t be sold on the cheap.

Arsenal bigwigs also believe the London-born striker is still capable of improving and would stipulate a sell-on clause as part of any transfer.

He is under contract until 2027 having penned fresh terms just 18 months ago. Arteta has regularly lent on Nketiah over the last 18 months.

The former Leeds United loanee has often led the Gunners’ frontline over the last 18 months when Gabriel Jesus has been struggling for form or with injuries. Over the course of 157 appearances for Arsenal, Nketiah has contributed 38 goals and nine assists.
