Leicester City fans have certainly had plenty to smile about over the course of the past few years.

The most memorable moment was of course their unprecedented run to the Premier League title, during the 2015/16 season.

Since then, the Foxes have also claimed a first ever FA Cup title in 2021, with those successes also allowing them to embark on some impressive campaigns in European football.

Admittedly, last season was one to forget as the club suffered relegation from the Premier League, but that has given way to a much better current campaign, with the club currently well on course to secure an immediate promotion from the Championship, under new manager Enzo Maresca.

Here though, we’ve taken a look Leicester City’s four most famous fans, who will surely have been enjoying much of the experience, of the past few years.

It seems pretty clear that Serge Pizzorno has a strong affection for Leicester City, given he has admitted to telling his careers advisor that he wanted to play centre forward for the club.

Instead, he would go on to become a well-known name in a different industry, as a successful musician best known for being part of the band Kasabian, where he has again shown his support for Leicester during his performances.

While he may not have got to live his dream of playing for the club, some of the moments he has produced in SoccerAid charity matches, would have made more than a few professionals proud as well.

Engelbert Humperdinck

Another musician known to be a supporter of Leicester City, is Engelbert Humperdinck, who was born in the city itself.

Since then, Humperdinck has gone on to have a hugely successful music career, producing a number of big hits across several decades that have earned him international recognition, while he has also represented the UK in Eurovision in the past.

Indeed, the singer has previously sent messages of congratulations to the club following their success in lifting the Premier League, and has also met the squad to show his support.

Gary Lineker

If you were asked to name one Leicester City supporter, most people would surely go with Gary Lineker.

The former striker got to live out the dream of representing his boyhood club at the start of his career, before going on to play for the likes of Everton, Tottenham and Barcelona.

Now best known for presenting Match of the Day, Lineker famously hosted the BBC’s flagship football programme in nothing but his pants to mark Leicester‘s Premier League title win, and can often still be found posting his thoughts on the Foxes’ results on social media.
