Martin Odegaard has revealed how Arsenal players are now feeling after today’s dramatic 3-2 north London derby win against Tottenham.

The Gunners found themselves up 3-0 heading into halftime, though mistakes from David Raya and Declan Rice resulted in Tottenham fighting back to 3-2, with Arsenal left fighting for their lives in the final minutes of the clash.


Despite the nerves that were on show, Arsenal managed to hold on to a massive win against Tottenham, securing the north London side’s spot at the top of the Premier League for another week with Manchester City having a game in hand over the Gunners.

And Odegaard has now revealed how his Arsenal teammates are feeling after today’s result.

Arsenal dressing room in good spirits after dramatic Tottenham win

Speaking to BeIN Sports, the Arsenal captain said the mood in the dressing room is positive and one of relief after today’s result, with the Gunners holding on for dear life in the final moments of the game to not concede a late equaliser.

Odegaard said: “The mood is good. We’re very happy to get a win in a big ga

me in a derby. Away from home, it’s a tough game. We’re really, really happy, and, of course, how the game evolved, I think, also you feel the relief.”

Given the size of the win, it’s no real surprise that Arsenal players are in a jubilant mood at full-time, with the Premier League title race now fully on with three games left to go for Mikel Arteta’s side.

And Odegaard will hope his Arsenal teammates can use today’s win as motivation to get their job done in winning their last matches this season, with AFC Bournemouth coming up next for the north London side.

Odegaard and company can’t lose focus yet after massive Arsenal win

Arsenal will as confident as ever in winning the Premier League title this season after today’s massive north London derby win, despite how the second-half unfolded.

And with Bournemouth, Manchester United and Everton remaining for Arsenal, the likes of Odegaard and company can’t lose focus on the end goal for the Gunners, with a Premier League title on the line in the coming weeks.

Indeed, three cup finals remain for Arsenal this season, and concentration levels can’t drop one percent if the Gunners are to end the year as Premier League champions.
