This off-season, the biggest taker of talent from the LSU Football program was the NFL Draft rather than the transfer portal. The Tigers did lose some pieces that could’ve been key pieces of this years LSU Football team however, the Tigers didn’t lose much.
These three players however, may find out that the grass wasn’t greener on the other side.
It’s hard to be against Heard’s decision to leave given the fact that he’ll start at his position in the SEC this season rather than being a reserve at LSU. The argument against Heard’s decision is simply Brad Davis.
The Tigers offensive line coach has proven he’s one of the best at developing talent and after spending another season behind Will Campbell, Heard would’ve likely developed into a first-round pick. At the end of the day, Heard’s decision is understandable9 but, he could’ve seen playing time at guard this season give
LSU’s turnover.
