
The University of South Carolina’s women’s basketball team has been recognized for its outstanding performance this season, with five Gamecocks players earning recognition from the Southeastern Conference (SEC) coaches.

Despite facing numerous obstacles, the team has shown remarkable resilience and grit, earning them a well-deserved spot in the national spotlight.
The five Gamecocks players recognized by the SEC coaches are:
Joyce Edwards, MiLaysia Fulwiley, Te-Hina Paopao, Sania Feagin and Raven Johnson earned First-Team All-SEC honors for her outstanding performance on the court
They were Joyce Edwards, MiLaysia Fulwiley, Te-Hina Paopao, Sania Feagin and Raven Johnson named to the Second-Team All-SEC for her consistent scoring and rebounding
They earned a spot on the SEC All-Defensive Team for her tenacious defense and ability to shut down opponents’ top scorers
They were named to the SEC All-Freshman Team for her impressive debut season and potential for future greatness
They earned Honorable Mention All-SEC recognition for her clutch performances and ability to make big plays in critical games
These recognitions are a testament to the Gamecocks’ strength and depth as a team, and demonstrate the program’s commitment to developing talented players who can compete at the highest level.
