West Ham star who was a doubt for Burnley drops hint over availability on social media after David Moyes voiced Nayef Aguerd concerns

A West Ham star who was a doubt for Burnley has dropped a hint over his availability on social media after David Moyes voiced Nayef Aguerd concerns.

West Ham are going into the game against Burnley with a number of injury doubts.

Hammers boss David Moyes says Michail Antonio will be out for two or three weeks with a knee injury sustained during the international break with Jamaica.

West Ham’s top scorer Jarrod Bowen also picked up a knee injury in England training.

And star boy Mohammed Kudus has been struggling with a bad back.

West Ham’s official website admitted there were concerns about the trio and confirmed they were undergoing assessments ahead of Burnley.

And Moyes also stated that Nayef Aguerd was carrying an injury too.

“It is a bit like a doctor’s surgery at the moment,” Moyes said pre-Burnley.

“It’s been difficult for a lot of the international boys because they’ve had late returns. But we think Nayef Aguerd will be okay too.”

Now the West Ham star who was a doubt for Burnley has dropped a hint over his availability on social media after Moyes voiced those Aguerd concerns.

Taking to X, Aguerd has posted a picture of himself alongside the the words ‘Match Day’ and ‘COYI’ with the fixture date and time for the Burnley vs West Ham clash.

A sure sign if ever there was one that the Moroccan is fine and will start alongside Kurt Zouma in central defence.

West Ham will have 20 points and can rise up to eighth in the table with a win over the Premier League’s basement side.

And that could leave the Hammers within striking distance of the top six with Man United – not in action until Sunday – on 21 points.
