Eugene, OR – The Oregon Ducks football program has secured a major commitment, landing 5-star running back, Jordan “JD” Davis, from the Class of 2026.
Davis, a 6-foot, 215-pound phenom from Los Angeles, California, chose the Ducks over top programs like USC, Alabama, and Georgia.
“I’m thrilled to join the Oregon Ducks family!” Davis exclaimed on social media. “Coach [Dan] Lanning and the staff have an incredible vision for the program, and I’m excited to contribute to its success.”
The commitment of Davis marks a significant milestone for the Ducks, who are building momentum on the recruiting trail.
“This is a massive pickup for our program,” said Coach Lanning. “JD is an exceptional talent, and his work ethic, character, and passion for the game align perfectly with our values.”
With Davis on board, the Ducks’ 2026 recruiting class is shaping up to be one of the best in the nation.
Oregon fans, already celebrating the team’s recent success, are now ecstatic about the program’s future prospects.
“Quack Quack! This is amazing news!” exclaimed Oregon superfan, DuckNation. “Welcome to the flock, JD! We can’t wait to see you dominating on the field!”
